Walk-in Interviews for Project Assistant and Associate Positions, and Office Assistant position are postponed to 24th October, 2011

Note: Due to bandh in Hyderabad, interviews scheduled on October 17th are postponed to October 24th at 10 AM.

Positions are for a contract period of 1 year with a monthly salary of Rs. 14,000/- (Assistant) and Rs. 18,000/- (Associate)
Eligibility for Project Assistant and Associate: Minimum of 65% or 7/10 CGPA in B. Tech./M. Tech. or B. E./M. E. in Electronics and Communications Engg./Electrical Engg/Computer Science
Interview will be preceded by a screening test from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM with questions in the following subjects:

Selected candidates will work on various aspects in research and development of Green Communication Networks, Converged Radio Access Networks, Intelligent Transportation Systems, Smart Grid Systems, and Green Data Centers.

Selected candidates may be permitted to register for PhD degree as per existing institute rules, in which case the contract period is extended till the end of PhD term.

Interested candidates should intimate by email (cps_careers [at] iith.ac.in) their willingness to attend the screening test and interview by at least one day before the date of interview. Please write "CPS-EE" in the subject line. Do not expect any acknowldgement for your email.

Eligibility for Office Assistant Post: Any Bachelors degree with excellent spoken and written communication skills. Responsibilities include project management, record keeping, procurement handling, administrative work, etc. Previous experience in a similar role is a plus. Should have experience working in Windows enivironment and ability to use MS Office tools.

Time: From 10 am to 1 am.
Positions Available: 3
Position is for a contract period six months with a monthly consolidated salary of Rs. 18,000/- .
Eligibility:
1. PG in Social Sciences.
2. Fluency in Telugu Language (both spoken and written)
Desirable:
(1) Experience in field work.
(2) Knowledge in MS Word and Excel.
Selected candidates will be required to travel and conduct the field work in the villages. IITH strongly welcomes women candidates to apply.
